Pros

Pay is what you would get almost anywhere for the line of work. Benefits are great, especially 401k match. My Insurance started from Day One. The culture and the product are designed with the customer in mind, so our job in serving the client is that much easier.

Cons

If you aren't really committed to being the best, you will struggle here. The environment is hyper-competitive. Not a job for someone used to showing up and going through the motions. The call volume can be very high. There are a lot of times when we are speaking with clients for the entire day outside of our breaks and lunches, no dead time at all. The metrics are numerous and you will be held accountable for all of them. Your performance is critiqued heavily. Change happens quickly, and you will be expected to adapt quickly.
