Pros

Competitive compensation Potential for growth after merger with Warner Quality content from Warner soon to replace awful Discovery content Fresh tech stack, people open to making changes

Cons

Immature tech stack and organization Not enough tech employees to support scale of global product Nothing worth watching on Discovery+ Poorly defined responsibilities of PdM, PM and TPM roles No established planning processes Outdated Amazon-like interview process Poor diversity in hiring (very few women in tech)

Pros

Lots of company events took place - big promos for the launch of new shows and events (Shark Week, Puppy Bowl), celebrations for cultural events, etc.

Cons

The company was great up until the merger of Scripts. Then it became abundantly clear that no consideration was given to the employees. Several rounds of layoffs occurred, despite telling employees they were "safe" after surviving the last round.

Pros

- Great people and benefits - Yearly bonus - Summer Fridays (though that most likely won't last)

Cons

- Low pay - Will not give you a raise/promotion unless you are a high-level employee no matter how long you've been there. - Constant layoffs and mergers that create a hyper-competitive culture, which leads to tons more work without a cent more pay - Corporate had us fill out endless surveys about the return to office and completely ignored the results because the CEO wanted us all in
