Pros

Discovery offers a fast paced environment and the opportunity to work on a lot of different projects. The company is willing to invest in new areas and try new business models.

Cons

Never ending cost cutting and restructuring have left departments understaffed and unable to keep up with the high volume of work. As a result morale is very low.

Pros

All the perks that come with working at a big company, such as fun company events and lots of networking opportunities Working on fun projects Looks good on your resume

Cons

No room to grow from certain roles Low pay Ridiculous hours, sometimes you might even find yourself doing work on the weekends Extremely politics-driven Some managers have poor management skills and are extremely patronizing Lack of diversity Very cliqueish and not always welcoming to newcomers Poor planning, everything is done last minute, always dealing with fire drills. Lots of red tape
