Pros

Nice office, good location, good working environment (although open space and noisy), decent salary, hard to leave, as the market is not thriving.

Cons

Little opportunities for advancement, as the wider team is dismissive of the locals. Also the company can decide overnight to close down an entire office, so quite risky on the long run,

Pros

I thought it will be a prestigious company to work for because of the reputation of discovery Group content on Tv.

Cons

Unorganized, no budgets, too much politics, they had just bought a local cooking channel and kept most of the old employees who quite frankly were amateurs. They wanted quality, change, perfect content, Ad sales targets without investing anything and specifically without changing the old ways work was done. It was like repeating the same mistake and expecting different result. The office atmosphere was not healthy, too much gossip, too much backstabbing, too much bullying and not enough action to change it all.
