No policies or procedures, no true trainings

Coworkers are horrible. Some tend to keep to themselves while the others suck up to the manager/ publisher. Training is horrible as they stick you right on the phone and don’t tell you how to do anything or make you learn from your mistakes. The guy who trained me didn’t care and was leaving in 3 days but yet manager wants you to learn everything in those 3 days when the trainer didn’t tell you anything. The others don’t care to tell you or help you at all. The manager/ publisher thinks he’s 100% correct and when you prove him wrong, he won’t listen to you (even when he tries to talk sports). The manager/ publisher also tends to think people want money more than info and the pitches he tells you to give are clearly not accurate or helpful whatsoever and you lose the sale instantly. He also loves to play favorites and tends to talk down on people who are not on the same page as him. The place is above a construction company and the building tend to smell like smoke or some kind of foul odor. Don’t bother to ask him for things like if he has things around the office because he will just give you snarky remarks. He also would lie in the interview process about cold calling and other benefits.
