No mention of work schedule during interview (I asked). They casually mention that you work 10 days in a row - all the time, and not optional.
As projects get further behind, they demand more. The 10-hour work day turned into 11 and occasionally 12. For average pay with huge responsibilities. Expect frequent pestering at home (phone calls and emails around the clock).
I was working 70-hour weeks and my boss commented that I wasn't doing enough to help the team. I had great reviews from customers, so I know I wasn't the problem. They asked me to cancel my anniversary weekend; took four conversations (verbal, email, text, phonecall, on my off day) for them to understand 'No'
When I put in my quitting notice, they asked what they could do to get me to stay. That should be an adequate suggestion
