Once a legendary, competent, family-feeling, AV organization that sold out to private equity. The number one focus is increasing margin at the expense of their employees and clients. Internal systems are an inadequate mess with no real standardization on process or procedure. Chain of command is impossible to follow. No publicized org chart. Middle management is mostly incompetent and unresponsive/unavailable. Directives from Sr Mgmt are not understood and therefore not implemented properly. C-level Communication is more like social media with no substance or realistic plan coming across as a facade with promises & little action and outcome. Project managers have 30 to 50 projects and don’t manage any one of them well, due to extremely burdened workload. Executive and upper management are non-industry experienced and driving the company in a direction to increase the value of the company so it can be sold by the private equity financiers. All of the leader ship teams that once made the company great are gone and new hires are brought in with little to no training or industry experience , and inevitably flounder. Turnover rate is incredibly high as a result of over utilization by leadership to cut cost and horrible quality of life to work balance for motivated employees. Project teams are constantly falling apart due to resignation and termination of the team members. Compounded frustration which leads to resignation as a result of poor accounting & purchasing tools/people/policy Clients get very little communication or attention after , the project is contracted.
