What impresses me about DocGo is their ability to provide a nimble response to any level of public health emergency. When Monkeypox cases were discovered, our team responded with mobile vaccination clinics that brought treatment to communities who were most at risk. Working closely with our partners at NYC, we were able to completely stop the spread, and help protect the city from this scourge.

Cons

Operationalizing emergency deployments requires total effort and focus for quick ramp ups and keeping up with last minute changes - challenging, but it's the nature of the work.

Pros

I work at the Arrival Center in New York City, providing medical screenings for asylum seekers who arrive here after a 5 day bus trip from the southern border, and an unimaginably difficult trip prior to that. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to do whatever it takes to seek a better life for one’s family. It’s humbling to provide care and help set them up for success in a new country.

Cons

We’ve gotten a bad rap in the media for the work we’re doing to care for migrants, which is completely undeserved - we should be fighting back by sharing the truth about our great efforts here.
