Pros

The past two years has been a whirlwind for me. There have been many rewarding moments and yes, several challenging moments too. Through it all I’ve learned and have become a more capable professional as a result. I get a kick out of some of these negative reviews. The ones that tell you to “run away” or to “beware” the big bad boogey man are exaggerated. It’s tough but it’s not that tough. I also still can’t believe how quickly I was able to grow here at Ambulnz! It was incredibly easy to get promoted. This really is one of those companies where hard work is rewarded and those who go above and beyond get their just desserts. I made it a point to finally establish a career for myself, and I can’t believe what I’ve been able to accomplish in just a little under 3 years. Looking back at how far I’ve come since I was hired on, I know there’s no other company I’d rather work for.

Cons

There’s very little work/life balance when people’s lives hang in the balance.

Pros

Great coworkers and managers who provide constant and endless support. An amazing CEO and upper management team. You will appreciate the open-door policy and humbleness of such great people. You will work with quality tech, equipment, and vehicles. Ambulnz is the #1 ambulance company in the USA, and cannot be matched. You will have the opportunity grow both professionally and personally. Plenty of opportunity for upward movement and career advancement. Great employee benefits and additional perks. Strong emphasis on achieving a healthy work/life balance. *Disclaimer: This is a true and factual review. No influence from anyone within the company or otherwise. I realize this platform is based on trust, but I’ve worked at companies before who paid for good reviews (despicable) and I want anyone reading to know this is not one of those.

Cons

Not a con, but a suggestion: think long and hard before working here because if you’re not a team player you’re not going to last long and you’re going to throw things out of whack until you leave. We don’t need that.

Pros

Being a part of the Ambulnz family is an amazing opportunity in the emergency services industry. There’s endless opportunities for growth and career development. Even if you start out as an EMT, you can eventually get a more stable job within the company with regular hours and less stress. I mean, every job comes with a degree of stress because of the nature of the work itself, but I like that you’re never stuck in just one role at Ambulnz. Plus, each team is well organized, and fully knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Each person is willing to go above and beyond their scope of work which helps our EMTs to perform their jobs to the best of their ability every single time.

Cons

I personally didn’t like working as an EMT. I was much happier when I got the opportunity to take on a dispatcher role within the company.
