Pros

The ability to affect change. I appreciate that in most cases management listen to great ideas and will allow you the freedom to pitch yourself. If what you are proposing makes sense (and money) they will back your idea and give you a chance

Cons

Cross Department communication. Departments do not speak to one another which causes much avoidable confusion.

Pros

There are opportunities for those seeking them out. There is a sense of autonomy here, and employee's are not limited by their role. The company is slick, adaptive, and above all - resilient. There's always a crisis lingering around the corner - but it's never dealt as such. There's a calmness and a confidence in the way business is done, despite the circumstances. There truly never is a dull moment and you're always on your toes, which is exciting.

Cons

There's often a disconnect between departments in terms of urgency and allocation of resources. Each department moves at their own speed and often doesn't waver from it. Fostering a sense of unity and buy-in across the board would be well received.
