- Fantastic quality of entry level sales training - excellent location/office space - work with motivated, intelligent, friendly people - DocuSign is a HOT company to work for so it's great on a resume when it's time to move on

Cons

- relatively low pay - relatively slow promotion timeline for entry level position

Pros

DocuSign has done well to hire lots of smart, passionate people. There are zero ROJs ("retired on the job") and a general desire to collaborate, share, and grow together. Sure, the company doesn't always know the best way to do that but they care enough to want to figure it out. Plus, you get to contribute to a pretty interesting product with an enormous road ahead of it.

Cons

A little bit too much bureaucracy for a company of this size and stage. A little more sharing of vision past the near term would help the folks on the ground understand where we're going.

Thanks for your thoughts. We have amped up internal comms more since February and hope that you now see the future company vision more clearly. It's inspiring (to me). I agree we need to ideate, test and fail fast and move on to create the best. I hope you see that we are embracing this more often. Catherine Courage's new group is helping facilitate this throughout the company.

Pros

very fun culture. work environment is lay back. work-life balance is good. compensation is alright, i'd expect either a little more considering this space is very competitive right now.

Cons

compensation can be improved to stay competitive or the company will lose the competitiveness on hiring talent people and lose existing talent engineers. perks can be improved too, free lunch would be nice.

Thanks for your review. I'll copy and paste the response I just wrote for another review: Since you wrote your review, we have hired directly or through acquisition another 1000 employees. While some people did say we hired a lot of VPs and brought in new leadership at different levels, at these growth rates, it seems that it was the right call. We have tried to bring people in with a fresh perspective and who know how to scale and manage large, global teams. It's like we buy pants that are two sizes too big and then find them just the right size one year later. Regarding compensation and recognition for engineers, please speak with Michael Erisman. he joined about 6 months ago and is focusing on this among other initiatives. He is quite supportive of focusing on engineers. I think you will find him open to your suggestions.
