      Pros

      They will give you time off if you need it. Usually the store isn't that bad.

      Cons

      A lot of cashiers call off and don't show up with no reprimand. People look the other way when people steal. They tell us we can't do anything about it. Customers deliberately throw stuff on the floor and make a mess and we're told we can't say or do anything about it. It feels like you have to do everything yourself and there's no teamwork not really. Everybody is overworked underpaid underappreciated.

      Pros

      If you have a hard working team that communicates and trains associates properly then the store can be a fun and productive place to work. There are also opportunities for sales associates to be promoted to assistant manager.

      Cons

      Not enough hours to get everything done. If the team is even slightly dysfunctional everything will pile up fast. Too often bad managers run stores into the ground. Back rooms get buried with unorganized freight and shelves become empty.
