Pros

The company offers long term financial stability. Overall benefits are industry standard.

Cons

Diversity was very lacking in senior leadership. Most VPs and above are white men, even in HR. HR leadership is very harsh and creates a culture of hostility in the workplace. Most employees are afraid to speak with their HR partners due to their reputation of not caring about the employees. There is no leadership training in the corporate office. Internal promotes are expected to figure out how to lead on their own and are held accountable if they do not. Lower level management receives little support from upper management and are often blamed for failures. The company has a no retaliation policy. This is great in concept, however, the company regularly retaliates against their employees with what employees have come to know as "company approved retaliation." Disciplining employees to a stricter standard when they are targeted by HR and holding them accountable for things they violate themselves. I was a first hand witness to this on many occasions. HR partners were unprofessional and routinely spoke and acted in a way that was unbecoming of HR. As an overall culture piece, the company does an amazing job of talking about putting the people first. However, it stops with talking. There is little to no action to back that up.

Pros

A few good faithful employees

Cons

Company doesnt care if their metrics dont match what's coming into the back door, send 2000 pieces of freight but only give enough hours too run 1000 of it if your lucky. District and regionals wont back you even after having proof of issues going on in your store. Hire felons for upper management positions and let them steal the place blind. Expect minimum wage workers to do everything. Dont expect to have a life working 6-7 days a week 12-15 hours a day because your having to make up for the hours that they wont give you

Pros

Employees, Customers, and the Atmosphere.

Cons

Too much freight with too little hours and staff to push. Store Manager can't schedule accordingly due to truck schedule being delayed and not projected ahead of time in advance enough for work/life balance. It is like management and stock crews schedule is never set in stone due to this error.
