Pay is decent, depending on your district the people can be amazing!

Working conditions and HR is not there for you when reporting your supervisor for doing things against company policy

Good Pay & Benefits, took too long to realize we were severely underpaid/undervalued.

Cons

High turnover in this role led to more tenured employees needing to step up and support additional departments outside of their own.

Pros

The people I worked with in store were mostly great. The job is simple compared to some larger retail stores where the responsibilities are almost impossible. This job is straightforward and when staffed appropriately you are able to stay on top of things and keep things running smoothly without stress.

Cons

Managers do everything. Associates cannot sell a giftcard without you being present. You are underpaid, most stores are short staffed so you are overworked and their are no rewards for Asst managers. No bonuses, no free lunches, no employee discount, and many managers are forced to work shifts alone when associates call off.
