Pros

- Management will leave you alone, if they believe you are competent in running the store, simply because they are lazy. This is the only Pro working for this company.

Cons

- Company makes 52% MU on everything they sell but you will never have even close to the amount of labor needed to pick the store up off the floor, create a proper retail presentation and keep it clean. - Company policies will change, and will not be communicated to you as a store manager, BUT you will be held responsible. - You as the store manager will work 55-65 hours a week for minimum base pay with absolutely no hope of reaching your bonuses. After all if the bonus goals are set high enough, then they of course do not need to pay them out. - Customer & associate shrink is rampant in every store and quite impossible to stop since you, the store manager, are the only full time person working to stock 3200 cases onto the floor before the next load is recieved. - You as the store manager will be REQUIRED to run the store COMPLETELY ALONE throughout certain parts of the day because your labor WILL be that tight. You will be running register alone, with NO back-up, while stocking, assisting customers and running to the bathroom which takes you away from the from doors creating a very dangerous situation. The perfect setting for a Flash Rob. - Store Manager training is rudimentary at best. The training will last for 3 months and be completely ineffective in preparing you for what is in store. The only hope you will have is previous experience in retail. - You as the store manager will be held accountable for ALL associates breaks & lunches, including the length of each. If there are breaks and lunches missing, or if these periods are too short, you the store manager will be held accountable, - not the associate.....
