      I can't think of one. I can only say it's better than being unemployed.

      Cons

      Low pay for the work. Very physical job, constantly stocking and never finishing anything. The only difference in a cashier and an assistant manager is that an assistant manger can open and close the store, plus stock, clean restrooms, sweep, etc. Pay raises you'll never notice unless your told you received one. No benefits as part-time. No discounts. Extremely demanding job.

      Pros

      Many job opportunities and opportunities for promotion. Flexible scheduling. Friendly district manager and upper managers. Great pay for mileage and drive times when working in other stores.

      Cons

      Low pay for non-full timers. mediocre benefits. Work very hard with little staff. Even as a manager, you'll end up stuck at a register, checking people out. Lots of product to stock with a very small crew.
