Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at Dominion would have to be the great compensation package, access to Senior level management and ongoing training via internet which is accessible anytime - day or night.

Cons

The compensation is lower than average and the opportunities for advancement are few and far between.

Pros

This is a great work environment. Everyone knows everyone and helps everyone. Company is committed not only to professional development but supporting personal betterment through a variety of wellness programs, gym memberships and other similar benefits that are at least partially subsidized by the company. This is a place that you are cared about. Personal life issues sometimes impact work life and I have always been met with flexibility and understanding. Company is giving a paid day off tomorrow to prepare for hurricane Irene, and has done similar things in the past to ensure employees are able to address needs and concerns outside of the workplace.

Cons

Seems more difficult for women to advance to senior management than men. Would like to see more pay increases - many salaries aren't eligible for pay increases because bonuses and/or commissions are paid.

Pros

Good benefits, flexible schedule, all the free soda you could want, some of the other employees are really great to work with.

Cons

Management sucks in most departments. No kind of understanding from management about family emergencies. Forced to use vacation time to cover what should be personal time then they're counted as absences and used against you during your (ALWAYS LATE) review.
