Pros

Flexibility: One of the significant advantages of working for DoorDash is the flexibility it offers. Dashers can choose when and where they want to work, allowing for a better work-life balance. Extra Income: DoorDash can be an excellent source of additional income, especially for those looking to supplement their primary income or make money during their free time. Easy to Start: Getting started with DoorDash is relatively easy. The application process is straightforward, and there are minimal requirements for becoming a Dasher. Tips and Bonuses: Dashers have the potential to earn tips from customers, and DoorDash sometimes offers bonuses or incentives for completing a certain number of deliveries during peak times. No Boss: As an independent contractor, you are your own boss. You have control over your schedule, routes, and working conditions.

Cons

Variable Earnings: DoorDash earnings can be inconsistent and highly dependent on factors such as location, time of day, and market demand. Some days or hours may be more profitable than others. Expenses: Dashers are responsible for their own expenses, including gas, maintenance, and wear and tear on their vehicles. These costs can significantly impact overall earnings. Limited Benefits: Gig workers for DoorDash do not typically receive traditional employment benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off. Wear and Tear on Vehicle: The constant use of your vehicle for deliveries can lead to increased maintenance costs and depreciation. This is a consideration, especially for those who rely on their cars for personal use. No Job Security: Gig workers are not employees, and DoorDash can change its policies or terminate Dashers' access to the platform without the job security that traditional employment provides. Customer Service Issues: Dashers may encounter challenges related to customer service, such as dealing with delivery issues, incorrect orders, or difficult customers.

Pros

Equity Internal promotions Money Prizes

Cons

Major frat vibes. Management likes to get together for SKO‘s and other company events and usually involves drinking and other messiness. Also, PTO is like 8-10 days annually and you don‘t really accrue much during every month you are there.
