1. Long hours and usually must work weekends can be tough if you have a young family 2. High expectations on every project (product brings engineering into loop way too late) 3. Can feel unsupported and isolated if you're in an out-group (non-Asian, non-male groups)

Horrible WLB. I worked nights and weekends when my manager had explicitly stated prior that this wouldn't be the expectation. Lots of pressure/sense of urgency for minor problems. Atrocious management with zero mentorship or support. They turn high performing individual contributors into managers when they are not equipped for it at all. Will always take the manager's side and discard your concerns.
