Pros

- Working with software and hardware is exciting

Cons

- Poor management, very toxic and/or incompetent people heading key departments - Chaotic, disorganised, lack of communication, toxic culture - Leadership has taken bad decisions repeatedly and do not seem to learn from their mistakes, or even realise the mistakes they are making - Employees are overworked - Good employees have left while employees with questionable performance are promoted - It does not seem the business can be profitable and sustainable - Main focus is on operations. Strategy wise, it is not clear what they want. It feels they just want to look good on paper to get acquired.

Very poor people culture - people disappearing from one day to the other while the company is bragging about its “people” culture. The company is loosing money. They hire people and take advantage of the probation period to get things done. Be careful, don’t be attracted by the monetary aspect!

Pros

Very few, one of them is working remotely.

Cons

Long list of cons. Toxic environment at all level. My department is run by someone who should be sent back to school. Blame game is a big issue and the company has still not a clear vision of the future. I guess a new turn of layoffs will be approaching very soon. Salaries are set based on friendships, no progress. Worthless benefits.
