Great Learning Experience, Fun Office Environment

Pros

Great first job out of grad school - I learned so much! Amazing people, opportunity to be creative, positive feedback on a regular basis. Accommodating to my software and budget needs, great office with fitness center and rec room!

Cons

Benefits are not the best. Pay on the low side for my position. When bonuses are handed out, they are great!

Pros

The Douglas Company has always been very good to me. The best part about working here is the people. It's a friendly atmosphere. Employees often head out to lunch together and some even play on the company softball team. You really get a sense that it's a team environment.

Cons

The construction work being done here is fast-paced. This can be a pro or a con depending how you look at it. The people who thrive in a "go-getter" do so.

Pay is good, benefits are good, work is interesting and there is a good balance between variety and stability. Company offers a lot in terms of training and personal development opportunities.

Cons

Can be a lot of office politics and the methodology seems a bit old fashioned. Process systems manual, while helpful, seems idolized instead of utilized as part of a more wholesome company process.
