a frustrating experience

Pros

remote work and company events

Cons

I strongly discourage candidates from pursuing a position with this company unless/until significant changes are introduced: -Combative interactions are a regular part of weekly team meetings. I have no personal hard feelings, but the owner can be extremely difficult to work with. -I as well as others found it extremely challenging to be given clear priorities from the owner, despite ongoing and repeated efforts to develop a shared set of expectations. -This is not necessarily a con, of course, but DragonFly has existed for over a decade, and they are very much a startup company in both size and maturity of processes. Also, I have to draw attention to the positive reviews that were posted in 2019. Note that most reviews were posted on the very same day and many of the 'cons' mention identical items. Take from this what you will.

Pros

I have been working at DragonFly Athletics for almost 2 years now and every day gives me plenty of new opportunities to work, succeed and thrive. Get to work on many different projects across the company, great benefits, collaborative culture, flexible work schedule, 3-4 remote work days a week.

Cons

No dental or vision insurance offered

Pros

Collaborate with a talented group of engineers, product specialists, and end users to deliver a complete and modern solution for athletics management. A flexible, supportive, remote-first environment that focuses on providing practical solutions to accommodate user needs. Competitive pay and quality leadership that is invested in the success of the employees as well as the company.

Cons

A small company with ambitious goals and a broad platform means always being ready to adapt to new requirements or shifting strategic priorities
