Pros

Stability, good work / personal life balance, lots of little perks (gym membership, free breakfast & lunch, free screenings, DVDs, etc.)

Cons

Low pay for production, political/favoritism, complacency, at mercy of a single supervisor for performance review, growth/promotion can be slow, lots of training on "managing up" but none for actually managing people

Pros

Ambitious goals, amazing talent, unbeatable work environment. Encouragement for management transparency and practiced by our CEO. Leading edge R&D in software and hardware systems abound.

Cons

Compensation, while well above average for many, is well below for others. Mixed on how this disparity either creates incentive or just makes it hard for the folks near the bottom.
