Great company to work for, a bit unorganized.

Pros

Great employee perks such as free breakfast, lunch and often happy hours. Fun employee events and classes you can take whenever. People are generally happy to work there, great artists.

Cons

Very busy all the time. Lots of overtime. Perhaps that's just the industry though. Also, pay is pretty low to combat the expensiveness of living in the SF Bay Area.

Not what it used to be.

Pros

Free lunch. For the most part low stress. Used to be a lively fun place to work with great projects.

Cons

Arrogant execs marching the company off a cliff. Bad decision after bad decision by upper management. Archaic proprietary software. ZERO room for promotion or raises.

Pros

"Free" Lunch Interesting, super intelligent, ambitious colleagues. Beautiful environment Competitive salaries

Cons

Executives make opaque decisions and do not communicate them to the rest of the studio. The software and pipeline are stuck in the 90s. Decisions are made at a snail's pace, and they're usually bad decisions. It seems likely that all of the film jobs will be outsourced in the near future.
