Pros
The only pro to working there is a paycheck every two weeks
Cons
If you work in the field (construction or warranty department) be prepared to do the work of 2-3 people with little to no support or accountability from management. Incompetent, arm chair management throughout the company especially in the construction and warranty departments. Constant problems with underperforming, bottom feeder contractors and vendors that Management does absolutely nothing about, in fact if you’re a really bad contractor Drees will reward you with more work. Poor, overpriced health insurance. Low salary increases that are never close to current cost of living. Bonus programs are a joke, especially if you’re in the Builder position. Terrible morale and frequent turnover in construction and warranty departments. Don’t be fooled by Drees bought&paid for awards of “best managed company” and “a great place to work”, if you’re looking for a field position in residential home building, do yourself a big favor and apply elsewhere
