Pros

- good people you work with (co-workers) - you will learn a lot about the auto business - income is good in selective periods (depends on your geographical area & tax season)

Cons

- long, long, long hours - no work/life balance at all (Calculation: 100+ hours every 2 weeks) - micro, micro managed to the core - budget & save your money when you're hot, for the slow days when you're not - you live on the phone, and some times at the dealership - commission bracket changes from time to time (but you have a low end base salary) - always understaffed (slave hours are in effect until new hires) - employee turnover rate is high

Pros

I love my co-workers! They make work very enjoyable. We get free lunches sometimes so that's awesome. Benefits are good.

Cons

It's really hard to have a good work life balance. Also the pay could be a little better based upon the amount of work that it required of you.

Pros

Great environment. Great compensation and benefits. Great coworkers. Drive time offers advancement opportunities because they primarily promote from within. As a growing company, promotion is especially quick if you are able to relocate and expand your horizons to new regions in the US that we are expanding to.

Cons

This isn't really a con just a reality as with most companies. If you work in an established market that is no longer expanding, advancement opportunities do not come as quickly as higher positions are not vacated easily because this is a great company to work for. The only con I can come up with is that during tax season (Feb-Apr) hours are long (sometimes 12hrs+/daily) to account for higher business volume, but you are also very well compensated through higher sales output.
