Pros

Learned valuable skills and had some amazing managers.

Cons

This is hard for me to leave such a low review but I feel like I have to. I started with DT almost 9 years ago. It felt so different and unique for a company and a car company at that. The culture was amazing and it was fun to go to work. Over the years I was promoted and the growth made sense and was fair. Something terrible happened I would say 3 or 4 years ago. It shifted from a great place to a nightmare. As a manger you are required to work all day with very little support. You are expected to make your employees work as hard as they can, going 110% all day every day. Who cares if they are tired? It was never enough. My assistant director led us my fear. Constantly making employees question there reason for being there and making people cry in front of new hires. They did not protect us during the pandemic. They did and still do not care. We got yelled at for not pushing the optional crap harder during the pandemic. It’s an EVIL company and I would avoid working here at all costs. People are promoted by who they know. No matter how many employees complain about that manager.

While we of course wish the comments were much different, we respect your perspective and appreciate the feedback. 9 years is certainly an incredible run, and we’re glad to see you find personal success with the training and career pathing available to all of our Retail team members. In an effort to serve our customers we do work hard; but fear, crying and evil are not words we ever want our company culture to be associated with, and these are claims we take very seriously. We hope you spoke up and shared these concerns with our Talent Support Team prior to your departure, as we want all employees – be it entry level or executive – to have a voice and be heard. We will also be looking into the situation to learn more.

Pros

Competitive pay, Great benefits, Successful Company

Cons

You will be scrutinized for every action including using perks provided by the Company. Your growth doesn't actually matter, if you are a square peg in a round hole you will be expected to become a round peg.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. It is unfortunate that this was your parting experience after spending 3+ years within our IT department. The work from home perk is only offered to select departments that have the functionality and capability to do so, and we trust our employees that do have this perk (along with all perks) to use it responsibly. Part of what makes our company culture is the people we work with, and we believe working together in person helps cultivate this. Although your time with us has come to an end, we do appreciate your feedback and we wish you the best in the next steps in your career.

Horrible Company - RUN!!!

Pros

There are absolutely no pros.

Cons

- Pay is not even close to competitive and is extremely low for the industry in all roles. They expect a lot for very little pay. - Senior leaders are elitest and part of a good old boys club with a lot of leaders being promoted from being interns / straight out of college so they have no other business experience outside of the convoluted business environment they have been surrounded by making their daily business decisions skewed. - They consistently focus on cost over quality and have very minimal safety programs reflecting that they don't really value their employees or their customers. - There is no HR department so leaders can do as they please without ramifications leaving the employees with no one to escalate issues to for any possible resolution. Also no one to go to when you are put in the middle of unethical business dilemmas by your leaders. - Diversity is lacking and severely undervalued within the organization overall with minorities and women being found in very few leadership positions. And when they do finally make it to these roles their opinions are not welcomed or valued in any way. - Company is shrinking leaving their future stability in question.
