Pros

Onboarding was made simple and easy during the pandemic. Drivetime takes pride in its culture and it really shows. Looking around, there's a large amount of people who have been here for several (5+) years. It goes to show how much people enjoy working here and are willing to stay around.

As you can imagine, COVID-19 impacted many businesses across the world, including ours, which forced us to make some really hard decisions, including our inventory count. At this time, we are in a better position to understand how our sales are impacted, and we are prepared to handle it with our inventory and staffing. We appreciate your feedback and advice on staffing and inventory count - as this is both currently used in our staffing and sales models. Pros

Team building focused, beautiful work facility with cafeteria, gym, putting green in the courtyard and BBQ gas grills. Always an event or contest and they celebrate their employees with monthly recognition. Excellent training program-highly organized and professional company.

Cons

Took a paycut to work here but the benefits are so good it was worth it

There are many benefits and perks at working at DriveTime, but you hit the nail on the head with the employee engagement and recognition! As you can imagine, COVID-19 was not predicted, and forced us to make some tough decisions, including laying off some employees. Since then, we started to hire again across the organization, but it does vary by market and department.
