Pros

You get to work with some of the best people in tech. The technical scale is massive and the engineering org overall is small enough that you can get close to the action. The culture is collaborative and supportive, although there is occasional cross-team conflict, but I don't think it's more than can be expected given the size. Generally, engineering leaders are involved in resolving such conflict.

Cons

There's just a lot of people and strategy pivots as Dropbox tries to figure out its next big thing.

Pros

Working at Dropbox has been super-rewarding. Every day, I’m surrounded by curious, driven teammates who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and reimagine what’s possible. I feel genuinely supported—professionally and personally. I’m contributing to our mission to make work more human, intuitive, and joyful. And, our Virtual First model gives me the flexibility to get work done in a way that's best for me, while still staying connected to my colleagues.

Cons

We’re in a pivotal moment as we scale Dropbox Dash. There’s a startup energy—fast-paced, occasionally uncertain, full of possibility. But we’re backed by the stability of a strong, established core business.
