Pros

Had a relatively easy interview process

Cons

It was more like working at a sweat shop than a salon. They expected unrealistic speed at which you finished customers hair. The manager at my shop location was lazy and would pawn off her duties to the shift manager or even certain stylists. There was also a lot of favoritism from the manager where only certain stylists would be able to get days off. I thought it was gossip around the salon until the manager pulled me aside and practically bribed me to work an extra few hours that day in exchange for a day off.

Pros

If you have a flexible manager you can use that to your advantage and travel

Cons

Company doesn’t care about its employees, their mental health or their physical health. I’ve been apart of multiple class action law suits. Terrible staff issues, mostly likely do to terrible upper management. Toxic work environment. Awful benefits.
