Pros

knowledge, speed, benefits, employee discount

Cons

we are suppose to get 30 min break after a 6 hr shift. yeah that doesn't happen. you dont get a break until you ask for one and you can no longer feel your arms. over booking is horrible. 30 min blow out is soooooooo unrealistic. some people have too much hair or super long that may take an hour. and 10$ tips are horrible with people who have kinky curly hair.

Pros

You meet excellent stylists from all walks of life.

Cons

The management team and up are racist, inauthentic, and selfish. They want you to kill people with kindness... aka the clients, and give them what they want regardless of how it affects the entire team. They try to brainwash you into believing this place is a "Happy" place. It is like the movie 'Pleasantville,' inauthentic, not reality, and not okay. They hire new stylists from beauty schools because they have no career experience. They pay extremely low and sympathize with you. Then state selling more add-ons and products to raise your check during the slow season. Yet they continue to cut hours, making you believe it is your fault for having low paychecks. Absolutely trash. They may have ratings for being diverse when they only hire diverse people as stylists, so they can state they are mixed. If you look at the management team, they are all of one color and one color only. This company is a joke and needs to be stopped. It's 2023; wake up.
