Pros

-entertaining work environment -oppourtounity to potentially build clientele

Cons

-they WILL take advantage of you if you let them -stylists can't get raises unless promoted (told to directly from HR) -only bonuses would be commission or holiday pay -bad management/leadership -would frequently put you on call or call you off -have you listed as part time but you sometimes will work full time (without the pay or benefits)

Minimum wage

Pros

You learn to do different types of hair.

Cons

Minimum wage. People in the fast food industry make more than the stylist at drybar. No brakes in between clients. Will have back and shoulder pain from working back to back. Blackout dates from October-December. Have to find own coverage “why do they even have HR for then”

Toxic Work Environment

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Drybar top level leadership really wanted to have a great working environment but did not dig down deeper to affect the necessary changes needed for non-executive management to thrive.

Cons

Toxic work environment was never flushed out. Bullying was encouraged both internally and externally to outside vendors.
