Pros

Great work-life balance, welcoming workplace culture, strong safety mindset, plenty of internal job opportunities and room for advancement, multiple business units to try working in, and clear company goals.

Cons

I would prefer more work locations in the northeast. The company is going through many changes with the spinoff of two large business units, DuPont Chemicals and Fluoroproducts and DuPont Titanium Technologies, recent sale of DuPont Performance Coatings, corporate reorganization, and the purchase and integration of Danisco and Genencor. I no longer see DuPont as the chemical giant I was interested in working for as the new direction of the company involves less chemical processes. While DuPont has shifted it's direction in biomaterials and advancing biotechnology, it remains uncertain if DuPont can fund those new businesses with the loss of revenue from DC&F and DTT. DuPont's engineering department is shrinking and the large projects that once existed are few and far between.
