      Pros

      Stability, good work life balance, respect for people is a core value and they back it up. Trying to be a very green and enviromentally responsible company, Average salary and health care, can find lots of better options though, great 401k matching (9%) but no more pension.

      Cons

      Poor balancing of work load to resources, tough place to get fired from (not a good thing, too many poor performers), current CEO very cost sensitive (i.e. cheap), asked employees to take up to 2 weeks of unpaid vacation in 2009 when the company made $2B+ profit. No perks of working for a large company like travel, fitness facilities, ability to attend training & conferences, etc.

      A wide array of projects in all areas of science are potentially available. Family friendly working environment.

      Cons

      Starting pay is not very high, and it never gets better than average throughout the career.

      Pros

      It was a great place for advancement opportunities and exposure to different aspects of the business. I had a great sense of pride in working for a company where I could see the products made used in everyday life.

      Cons

      Since it's such a large manufacturing site, it can be overwhelming if you come from a smaller company. Also getting used to the Dupont terminology and acronyms could be a bit much from time to time. There also didn't seem to be a good flow of communication between departments.
