      A good place to start out but don't stay there forever!

      Pros

      flexible work/life balance, some opportunities for growth, very stable company and some very intelligent co-workers. This is a good place to get a few years experience under your belt out of college.

      Cons

      middle manager level is mostly inadequate and self-serving. There are a lot of politics that go into promotions and the filling of opportunities. Managers appear eager to hire outside rather than develop competency inside because it will take more time. No big promotions, they will just inch your salary along at a snail's pace for most of your career.

      Pros

      The salary is okay, and I also think they offer a good work/life balance, with a pretty decent 401K match.

      Cons

      Management doesn't care about you. As long as the action items gets done, its great for them, but there's no recognition for you. However, if you do something wrong, EVERYONE will know. The people here really love to play the blame game, and if you want something done, you might as well do it yourself because nobody wants to be anyone else's accomplice.

      People are intelligent, the culture is respectful, folks are ethical, benefits are great, company is fairly stable, company is established

      Cons

      Too many meetings, not enough accountability, structures are too matrixed, mediocrity is tolerated too much, people too easily accept the status quo
