Once you are pigeon-holed, the company has zero interest in allowing you to move up or laterally. Managers are narrow-minded, not creative and have risen to their levels of incompetence where they nest forever.

The technology and culture of the facility seem to be straight out of the 70's. From the way they run processes (no lean manufacturing principles in place) to the cultural standards. The professionalism of all staff was lacking and people are promoted and recognized for time on the job instead of quality of work or qualifications.
