After observing the company’s trajectory over the last 1–2 years, I feel it is important to share an honest perspective for prospective employees.
1. Persistent Instability: The company has become heavily focused on layoffs, which have occurred frequently across all global locations, including India. Even high-performing teams are not immune to sudden workforce reductions.
2. Lack of Strategic Direction: The current leadership appears to lack a distinct long-term vision. Instead of fostering innovation, the strategy seems reactive—simply imitating competitors ("herd mentality") rather than setting a unique course.
3. Unsupportable Workload: The organization has become a high-pressure environment. Aggressive layoffs have stripped teams of critical resources, yet the workload and expectations for the remaining staff have increased, creating a "pressure cooker" culture.
4. Misplaced Reliance on AI: There is a concerning belief at the executive level that AI can fully compensate for the loss of institutional knowledge and seasoned personnel. This approach undermines the value of human expertise and is proving unsustainable.
5. Toxic Priority Management: "Everything is a priority" is the standard operating procedure. This lack of prioritization results in constant, overwhelming pressure on employees to deliver across all fronts simultaneously.
6. Eroding Flexibility: The company is currently transitioning away from remote work to follow industry trends, with plans to mandate a return to the office in the coming months.
7. Leadership Ambiguity: Frequent leadership changes have led to a lack of clarity regarding organizational goals, leaving employees unsure of what is expected of them in their roles.
Recommendation: If you have other options, I strongly advise exploring them before considering this company. The environment is currently volatile, and even new hires are subject to immediate scrutiny and high risk. Proceed with extreme caution.
