      Pros

      Employee-owned company. Perfect location, a block from the beach and a block from great restaurants and shops. A growing company with lots of opportunity and interesting projects. Leadership sets the direction and staff are given the tools and trust to be successful. No red tape. Great benefits, fun company parties & activities (e.g. grill club, volleyball, yoga), dog friendly.

      Lack of standardized processes across the offices.

      Pros

      Young and easy to get along with team. Positive attitude in Paleontological project managers although their communication methods have room for improvement.

      Cons

      Project and field managers are very poor at communicating with field technicians. Some required data collection such as Munsell color charts are based upon incomplete charts and are therefore irrelevant. Restrictive specimen and sample collection parameters make the company ineffective at adequate data acquisition and therefore paleontological resources are not adequately protected.
