      Pros

      Good opportunity to learn new and some special apps in the health care environment. Benefits are good. Better than most.

      Cons

      parking is expensive. Since reorg, it is most break fix with reimaging (a 5yr old can do that). Management tend to take advantage of salaried employees by not paying them for overtime. Going to bi-weekly was trashed after telling us of the plans. Team Leader positions pay a little more but tend to be offered to "pets' and "boot lickers". CEO is former military that is how things are run. If you are military, you seem to get fast tracked to higher positions now. You can make more at WaMed but those people don't leave and I cant blame them.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits, career growth opportunities for those that are driven and motivated. Positive work culture improvements over the last 3 years. Managing out of bottom 5% performers has proven to create more opportunities for those that want a career, rather than a job.

      Cons

      IT staff are not all located in the same physical locations which sometimes causes a disconnect with communication/accessibility.

      There is a lot of opportunity for advancement.

      The pay is very low. It is not comparable or competitive to other medical centers in the area.
