They need to "Dukify" everything, many times creating a mess. Always time to fix it later attitude.

Duke's pay is not competitive. You have to ride a bus to get into work because most parking that is within a reasonable walking distance that my husband was comfortable with me going alone was all taken. The bus drivers are often dangerous and the buses themselves overcrowded. The managers are largely derelict in their duties and being successful here is entirely dependent on who you know and how you can network. Half of the staff is related to one another. It is nearly impossible to get rid of bad employees, and that's even if their managers are willing to hold them accountable for their actions. There is a saying around here that goes "There's the right way, and then there's the Duke way."
