Pros

Excellent work life balance with ability to easily take requested time off. Excellent retirement and overall benefits package. Excellent, professional team of skilled clinicians with overall welcoming environment. Supportive of APTA involvement. Full time benefits at 30 hrs/wk

Cons

Poor communication throughout the department with leadership that does not promote professional growth if any time is taken from revenue generation. Full time clinicians must work 10 weekend days a year in the inpatient setting. NO continuing education funding without extensive requests. No charting time, unpaid lunch. Minimal opportunity for upward professional career growth. LOW salary with very poor incremental annual raise (does not come close to matching cost of inflation).
