Pros

Benefits are great. Atmosphere stimulating and mentally challenging. Surrounded by others who are the best. Duke is a prestigious organization and top-notch medical center

Cons

Size and accompanying bureaucracy typical of a large institution. Good makes up for the bad, though. Wages need to catch up to the marketplace.

Pros

I was very happy with my experience working as a Clinical Research Specialist at the Duke Integrative Medicine. I was given a lot of respect, honesty, and loyalty while I was there and it was a very supportive environment.

Cons

At the time, they were in the middle of a transition to new leadership, so there was some turnover but that has drastically slowed down at this point and is not an issue at all anymore. Also, the pay was OK but not as competitive as other organizations.
