Never seen an HR department be so blatant about making sure you put Dutchie above all else. - Don't think their longterm potential is going to work out so well. - Leadership doesn't really trust the smart people they've hired to guide the company in the right direction so some missteps have happened. I got out after a few months because it was apparent to me this company sold me on some pie-in-the-sky dreams during hiring, but reality was much more bleak.

If you don't want to work hard in a startup Dutchie can be a rough place. There is no matching 401k 'cuz startups are poor in cash and rich in equity. If you need near term predictable financial growth over the long term value of equity then this isn't the place for you. There is lots of opportunity here but you are going to have to push for it. We all have to find our own work-life balances but if that means 4 day work weeks, slower work schedules, or lack of ambiguity in a wildly changing industry then you are not going to be happy at Dutchie.
