Terrible management and abrupt layoffs, strongly avoid.
Pros
Many colleagues were nice and easy to work with.
Cons
Overall I had a terrible experience. Have worked for a set of unicorns since leaving Microsft, met the most incapable manager in my career, he was not technical at all and didn't contribute any code, did only so called "management", hello sir, poor micro-management won't lead to any solid result but a frustrating team morale. I was laid off surprisingly on a Monday around 11am when I was already working for more than 4 hours: I had to get up early and started to work from 6:30am, spent some time preparing for a 7am early-hour meeting with the team's technical leader, then worked for more than 3 hours on a code change, then was invited to a meeting by the manager, and was told that I was laid off and the last date was the previous Friday. I was working diligently for over 10 months without taking any day off, I should be entitled for a starting stipend of $800, I had been busy and didn't have to make a request to reimburse it, because my last day was the previous working day, I lost the right to claim it... This whole process was extremely brutal and cruel. That tells you a lot how this broken company has been treating its most valuable assets, its employees.
