Pros

Startups are tough and roadmaps not available when you are the leader in a high technology field. Not everyday is a step forward but the company is in a positive direction. The culture is geared for success. Employees are informed and engaged.

Cons

Long hours and periodic chaos. Sometimes the train gets off the tracks. Turnover a little higher than normal.

Pros

Work with the C-Suite, "Take the ball and run with it." approach is satisfying. Has been and continues to be a great educational experience. As the needs of the company evolve, so can your role(s) = opportunity for growth/advancement.

Cons

A little out of the way, but worth it.

Pros

I have been a part of Dynamics from almost the beginning of the company, being with the company for over 10 years. Before that I had my own company for five years, then was engineering manager for another local company for 20 years. I am now 70 and continue to work full time for Dynamics instead of retiring, to help move the new products forward. Dynamics is a company for the person who loves to implement new ideas and technology into a product that initially seems impossible, but then becomes a reality. Jeff, our CEO, is a creator and has a great imagination of what can be done in the payments industry in particular. If you love new technology, and integrating it into a product, this is the place for you. I have been stretched and had to push the limits of what I thought could be done many times during the past 10 years. Although Jeff is very demanding at times, he has been able to take this company from nothing to a company with several successful product lines now, and much more coming in the future. That takes a lot of energy and skill to accomplish. He literally works day and night moving the company forward. He is the most creative and hard working CEO that I have ever worked for. He has grown in his management abilities significantly over the past 10 years, seeking advise and counsel from many successful business leaders, and implementing what he has learned. The pace is fast and the designs include new technology that has not been done before, This creates the need for the Teams to be flexible and make changes quickly as needed. This often creates friction, due to the customer time lines and required product changes that require extra effort to accomplish. But in the end, when the product is finished, and the customer needs are met, it is rewarding. The conflict between design time lines and customer needs has always existed in all my past engineering positions, it is not something new with Dynamics. Jeff has many new ideas in the works for the future, and I look forward to seeing those brought to completion. Would love to have you join in the journey. Jim Workley-Chief Scientist

Cons

You must be a self-starter, understand the pressures and challenges with a start up company, and be willing to put in some extra effort to be successful at Dynamics. Many of our past employees did understood these things.
