Pros

I have been immersed in the Dynamics Vision and innovative technology for almost 9 years. My previous experience included Steve Jobs' NeXT Computer Company and several other start-ups in the silicon valley. The list of Pros for Dynamics is very well suited for the individual who really desires to stretch their imagination and hone existing skills. Those who really want to become integrated into the evolution of technology that quite frankly did not exist or even contemplated before our CEO, Jeff Mullen created Dynamics are welcome. I see some very negative comments on 'Glass Door' about the qualities of the CEO. I have worked with several start-up CEOs in my career and from my experience, driving technology, creating awareness of what is possible in the financial community and starting a new company from scratch is an awesome responsibility and very very few people have the drive, brains and commitment to be successful. CEOs of established companies also have awesome responsibilities but it is not the same for a start-up. Personally, Jeff has allowed me to utilize my background to produce technology that even surprised me; the comments about micro-management could not be further from the truth. Course corrections, product definitions changes and other external forces require all of us to be extremely flexible with out losing our focus or our sense of commitment; that is not micromanaging in my mind. The best CEOs sense those changes and plots a new course for the product in time to solve them. If you want to be part of something where you actually can 'leave your hand prints on the walls' then Dynamics is that opportunity. Norman E. O'Shea-Chief Production Technology Officer Dynamics Inc.

Cons

The only negative (con if you will) is that sometimes Dynamics brings on folks who are not really sure of their skills, lack a strong sense of self worth or simply do not function well in a start-up and then leave the company but feel compelled to write very negative and most of the time false impressions of the company. As part of the hiring team, we also pride ourselves on vetting to make astute choices of the folks that we want to join us. Sometimes we are disappointed.

Pros

- Dynamics' smart card technology is just now coming into its own; recently announced new products, new customers, and industry recognition awards are evidence of revenue traction and industry interest in what Dynamics has to offer; - talented group of employees working toward common goal of launching new products - exceptional opportunity for knowledge expansion in solving very complex engineering and manufacturing challenges - benefits are very good for a company at Dynamics' stage of development.

Cons

Dynamics has set very aggressive goals for both itself and its customers and thus this is a fast-paced and demanding workplace. if you are not willing to put in the extra effort to help make the company successful, you will not be successful here. But if you are willing and able, the personal growth and visibility can be quite rewarding.

Pros

Sucessful products in the market that people want. Startup environment...Challenging and rewarding work for researchers and engineers of all disciplines in cutting edge technology. Regardless of experience, there are myriad opportunities to learn more and grow; research and develop new ideas, materials & solutions. Great team and collaboration.

Cons

Small or missing resources in parts of the infrastructure; marketing, HR, etc. Typical of many if not most startups though. You may wear several hats here at times although that's not necessarily a con.
