Pros
Relatively standard working hours. Good cheap food in the canteen. Free parking. You know you'll get paid at the end of the month. Paid holidays. Free Christmas party. Looks good on a CV because outsiders don't really know what it's like.
Cons
You'll not be judged on how good you are - but how well you suck up to a dysfunctional cult of senior managers. True creative thinking and ideas are actively discouraged. Don't have informed, considered opinions - you'll be shot to pieces and targeted for presenting a threat to talentless managers who are only in their positions because of who they say yes to.
