      Politics and unclear career path overshadow great people and great work

      Unlimited PTO, friendly environment, customer-centric vibe

      Cons

      Too many smaller consultancies have been merged thus diluting the culture, some bad actors in the Executive level bring unnecessary amounts of politics, visibility and job security are wobbly due to so many reorganizations in under 2 years, unclear career path

      The people who are directly involved with project work are smart and passionate. Project work is interesting and feels meaningful

      Cons

      C-suite leadership is hyper-focused on profits. I worry this will lead to higher turnover, lower work quality, and less happy clients over time. C-suite leadership also seems to make decisions in a vacuum without consulting the teams who are actually impacted by those decisions There is limited investment in employees and our professional growth. Clunky systems, unclear expectations, and poor communication between departments. Limited to no investment in culture, employee well-being, or team cohesion

      Great people in the trenches. Exciting work to do, work feels impactful.

      Cons

      Upper management heavy, overlaping roles and decisions lead to confusion, and rework. Recent aquisitions have led to compartmentalization, unclear values, constant rebranding and goal changes. E Source is 15 companies in a trenchcoat, with no clear form of communication across devisions. There were promises of pay adjustments to match market value, but this went quiet and was never brought up again.
