Pros

Great family oriented, American owned company. Steadily growing in the automotive industry, which offers ample opportunity for advancement. Company offers employee development and tuition reimbursement. Fast paced technology driven environment. Temperature controlled climate.

Cons

That air conditioner is cold in the summer. Not many cons to list. You have to be there on time and be a team player. These are things any productive member of society would do.

Pros

Lots of overtime! About 70 hours a week or more most of the year, Decent pay for the work. Employees are friendly, most are polish or non U.S. immigrants.

Cons

Very understaffed, lack of training, overworked and chastised for poor production numbers and told to produce more. Pretty much a non existent upper management base. Only one of the upper management ever walks around to socialize with employees and praise, correct, or gain input from the hourly employees. A overwhelming feeling of being expendable with a severe feeling of inferiority. Sweat shop comes to mind, only they pay their employees (never clock out at any time other than 15 past, half past, 15 til or on the hour, or you don't get paid for time not on a quarter). No accountability placed on operators for piece count, process controls, or quality (unless there is a quality issue that comes back). Lack of understanding of how LEAN Manufacturing works. The thought process of most employees are "well, there's a right way, that's the smart way, which is the last thing E&E would do." In essence, the employee morale is terrible, and stems from management telling everyone that they are the ones responsible for all issues that make the company lose money.

Thank You! We value your feedback, as you may know we have an open door policy and encourage everyone to talk to their Supervisor or H.R. about any concerns. We too would like to see your suggestions on PLEX as we have an entire team dedicated to reviewing, researching and investigating each entry. It's expected of us all to speak up, raise questions, and concerns to our Supervisors, especially if one is feeling drained, overwhelmed, doesn't understand something, feels the need of additional training, or sees something out of place; especially when it comes to safety and quality. We are here to help one another and your opinions, suggestions, and concerns are appreciated. We are in a state of constant improvement, and only with your help, feedback, can we get better.
