Pros
Get to travel around the world There’s always something new to learn
Cons
Scheduling can be tough, with just weekends to rest in some extreme cases. Scheduling always changes, so you can’t really plan anything ahead of time Not ideal if you don’t like being alone/away from home for long periods (some project take up to 6+ months, with a week back at home every 3-4 weeks; sometimes can be extended to 6 weeks) Pay raises are low No real career growth path, unless you have 5+ years and become “indispensable” or expert at certain things
